With the introduction of new Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) that combine the form factor and ruggedness of a PLC with the software flexibility and functionality of a PC, it is now possible to quickly create custom control applications that run reliably in harsh environments.
This seminar illustrates the functionality of the PAC by building LabVIEW programs running on Compact FieldPoint to solve complex control problems like multi-loop PID based temperature control, web enabled embedded data logging, and linear motor commutation.
